The next meeting is December 4 at Heritage Hall [see below]
The Celebrators is a club for residents over 50 years of age in the Town of Celebration in Central Florida. We are a 501(c)(7) tax exempt organization. We started in December of 1997 and presently have over 300 members. We are a non profit organization and are committed to education, lifelong learning, volunteer service and having fun!
WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND. – As we all know, the 851 Building (Town Hall) will be closed for an indefinite period of time. But fear not! The good news is that beginning this month and until further notice, our meetings will take place at Heritage Hall. Those of us who have been around for a while will remember that this was our original gathering place. More good news…you can also stick around afterwards and do a few laps in the pool to work off any calories you may have ingested during the meeting! (If you do plan to take a dip, we ask that you come to the meeting fully clothed so as not to distract from the speaker!)
NOTHING STAYS THE SAME FOREVER. – Now for the “not so good” news. Since our club’s inception in 1997, the annual dues have remained constant at $15.00 but with rising costs (facility rental fees, bus fees, event subsidies, etc.) the Board and your Executive Committee felt an adjustment would be in order. Effective October 1, 2024, our annual dues will increase to $20.00 for 2025. Still the best deal in town
Monthly we host two luncheons and two dinners at a different location.
Please feel free to come and take a look, meet your neighbors and experience the dynamic community of seniors in Celebration.
